OpenAI

We use OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini and GPT-4o models to power AI companion conversations. Your messages are sent to OpenAI's API to generate responses. OpenAI's data usage policies apply to this processing. OpenAI does not use data submitted via their API to train their models.

Firebase (Google)

We use Google Firebase for:

Firebase Authentication: Secure user authentication and Google Sign-In
Cloud Firestore: Secure storage of your messages, conversation threads, and preferences
Firebase Analytics: Anonymized usage analytics to improve the app

Google Sign-In

When you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information (email, name, profile photo) as authorized by you through Google's OAuth 2.0 consent screen.

Delete Conversations: Delete individual chat threads or messages at any time

Opt-Out: Disable analytics or certain data collection features in Settings

In-App Privacy Controls

Data Retention

Active Accounts: Data is retained while your account is active
Deleted Conversations: Permanently deleted within 30 days of deletion request
Account Deletion: All personal data is deleted within 90 days of account deletion, except where required by law
Backup Data: Deleted data may persist in backups for up to 90 days before permanent removal

Children's Privacy

Amorae is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will delete such information.
